YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent, Maintenance Services, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will assist the managers in coordinating the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, which consists of the strategy, the source of raw materials or services, and the delivery and logistics. You will plan to minimize shortages and optimize costs. You will also make recommendations to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

- Ensure the safety of the team by applying a zero-harm approach to all tasks performed;

- Collaborate with Meliadine operations teams; 

- Ensure that all materials entering the mine site, follow the proper receiving procedures in place;

- Determine key supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs);

- Develop Logistics and Warehouse Management Strategies that will enhance current systems in place;

- Develop and report on Warehouse & Logistics statistics;

- Training and performance evaluation of direct reports;

- Ensure that the SOX requirements are met on a monthly and annual basis;

- Monitor and manage warehouse budgets.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Finance, or similar relevant field;

- 5+ years of experience as a Warehouse General Supervisor or Manager;

- Knowledge of supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.);

- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success;

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English.

Your Work Schedule:

- Schedule: 10 days of work, followed by 10 days for transportation and rest;

- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
